Memorial: Anne Duncan, 91, passed away on May 25, 2023 in Omak, WA. She is greatly missed by her family. Anne was born in Seattle, WA, on August 4, 1931, to parents, Virginia and Evan Griffiths. She spent most of her childhood in Twisp, WA, where her father was a Forest Ranger. She always treasured the memories of the Methow Valley and summers spent at the Spirit Lake ranger cabin, north of Mt. St. Helens. Her parents later moved to Vancouver, WA, where Anne graduated from Vancouver High School in 1948. She attended Western Washington University for three years studying Education. After her father's retirement, the family returned to Twisp. It was while Anne was home for the summer from college, that she met John R. “Bob” Duncan. They married on August 10, 1951, and celebrated over 66 years of marriage. A Memorial Service were held on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the River Valley Funeral Home Chapel, 2547 Elmway St., Okanogan, WA.
