Memorial: Donna Christine Darwood (Chrissy) passed away suddenly in her home on Aug. 20, 2023, in Henderson, Nevada. Chrissy was born on Sept. 28, 1950, to Stanley Darwood Jr. and Joyce Millard in Brewster, Washington. In May of 1958, Stanley met and married Evelyn Knowles, the two families blended and moved to their family home on Lower Beaver Creek. She lived her early years and attended school in Twisp, Washington. After graduation, she moved to Ferndale, Washington, for several years. In the late 1980s, Chrissy moved to Henderson, Nevada, where she met her longtime partner, Frank Vaughn. She worked in several casinos as a cashier prior to retirement. Chrissy had a great sense of humor, always welcoming with a big smile. She also had an infectious laugh! She will be missed! She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Darwood, mother Evelyn Darwood and special aunt, Letha Scott. She is survived by her brother Steve Darwood and sisters Melinda Bourn and Darralyn Darwood. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
