In 1906, H. H. Nickell donated land to join the modestly priced acreage, recently purchased from W. L. LaMotte, to incorporate the Beaver Creek Cemetery Association for the towns of Twisp and Silver, Washington. 

In 1953 Okanogan County Cemetery District No. 2 (Beaver Creek Cemetery) was formed. The Cemetery size is due to the generous donations of citizens of Twisp and Silver in years past.
